My Neighbor PR
Our team is currently in Puerto Rico assessing the damage. We are focusing on search and rescue, assisting victims with medical care in their communities, providing solar equipment for areas without power, and distributing water filters to ensure hydration and prevent health issues. The power grid in southern Puerto Rico is fragile and may take months to repair. Since the water system depends on stable power, many areas are without water services. We have the support of the governor of Puerto Rico and the Arecibo Police Department in this major effort. We urgently need solar equipment, medical supplies, water filters, and large tents. Food supplies are not required, as the North and East regions of Puerto Rico are able to assist with that Boondocks Intervol is sending two trailer containers of medical supplies, but we require two more 53-foot containers for storage at Boondock Facilities, located at 2013 East CR-470, Sumterville, Florida, 33585.
So far, we have assisted the towns of Guanica, Guayanilla, Ponce, Peñuelas, Lajas, Yauco, and most recently Mayaguez. We may expand our efforts to additional towns.
