Our Mission
Boricuas de Corazón Inc. is a community-based, bilingual organization dedicated to providing disaster preparedness, emergency response, and humanitarian assistance to communities in the United States and internationally. We train and equip civilians and volunteers through Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) programs to strengthen local response capacity during hurricanes and other disasters. Through coordinated humanitarian aid efforts and partnerships with community members, private donors, and government agencies, we work to protect lives, reduce harm, and support resilient recovery.
Our Vision
We envision a future where every community regardless of income, age, language, or location is prepared, resilient, and empowered to face disasters with confidence. Through education, training, and collective action, we strive to build a culture of readiness that protects lives, strengthens communities, and ensures no one is left behind before, during, or after emergencies.
